Two decades of successful social and economic interventions have benefitted 100 small farmers cooperatives in South India and evolved into a rural farming model rooted in local resources and traditional skills to improve livelihood. Efforts of small and marginal rain-fed farmers engaging in default organic agriculture have led to increased organic farming and linking their cotton to mainstream markets.
