 Return, Exchange & Refund Policy

At TerraKlay, we celebrate the artistry of the human hand. Because our products are handmade, variations in color, texture, and shape are expected and part of each piece's unique story!

Returns & Exchanges

  • Window: Returns and exchanges must be initiated within 14 days of delivery to receive a refund or to make an exchange. The original item(s) must be unused and in the same condition and in original packaging in which they were purchased.
  • Restocking Fee: A 15% restocking fee applies to all returned or exchanged items.
  • Exclusions: Sale items, gift cards, and products purchased through other third-party retailers.
  • Shipping: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs including insurance. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

How to Start a Return

  1. Email us at info@terraklay.com for authorization. To move forward with the return or exchange, we will require proof of purchase, which may be an order confirmation email, an order number, or a receipt. 
  2. Once approved, we will provide shipping instructions.
  3. Note: Items sent back without prior authorization cannot be accepted.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order immediately. If an item arrives damaged or is the incorrect product, email us a photo and description of the product and package within 48 hours. We will prioritize a repair or replacement for you. 

Refund Policy

Following an inspection to verify the item is undamaged and in its original state, your refund will be issued to your original payment method, minus the restocking fee and original shipping costs. Please allow your bank 5–10 business days to process the credit.

Exclusions

We cannot accept returns or provide refunds for:

  • Items damaged due to improper care, exposure to extreme temperatures, or accidental damage such as drops or impact.
  • Items returned more than 14 days after receipt

Post-Purchase Care for Wooden Products

Wooden products require care and maintenance. Cracks or splits can occur if the product is not adequately maintained or due to mishandling. Please refer to our Care Instructions for guidance on maintaining your wooden items. With proper care and maintenance, these can last for generations.
