Elevate the everyday! Naturally dyed, 100% cotton table runners add an instantaneous splash of color and pattern to your dining table. This table runner is reversible, changing the look of your table with a simple flip. To get this traditional yet contemporary pattern, a centuries-old Japanese technique called shibori is used. Each piece of fabric is folded, twisted, or tied before being dipped in dye. Each table runner is individually hand-dyed with a unique design on one side and solid natural color on the reverse. Slight dye patterns will vary with each piece.
Materials: 100% cotton, natural dye
Size: 16” x 80”
Machine wash cold, on a gentle cycle with like colors. Tumble dry low or hang to dry. Gently hand wash preferred. Keep out of direct sun. Be aware of any color bleeds in the first few washes.
Due to the nature of natural dyes some fading may occur over time. Do not bleach. Iron if necessary.
In a world where we continuously talk about empowering women and preserving our planet, this napkin is doing all the right things. TerraKaly is collaborating with a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to the rehabilitation & generation of sustainable livelihoods for the differently-abled young adults in the rural plantation community of south India. 100% hand dyeing techniques are utilized with natural ingredients making the whole process environment friendly.
TerraKlay is bringing a wide range of functional designs in stoneware pottery created by craftsmen and craftswomen from south India's village community.
These products were born from the idea to create a platform where the villagers could live and work in their village and learn a new skill instead needing to migrate to bigger cities. This led to the creation of a range of "eco-friendly products" wheel-thrown by village craftsmen. All stoneware cups are fair trade and show the beauty of their handmade artistry.
