With their generous 16 oz. capacity, these large stacking glasses are made for everything from a refreshing glass of water to juice, mocktails, cocktails, and more. Hand-blown by artisans in Guatemala from recycled glass, each glass is created by crushing and melting the glass before shaping it by hand. The result is a beautifully simple, functional glass with the subtle variations that make handmade pieces unique.

The tall, stackable design makes them practical for everyday use and easy to store, while the colored rim adds a touch of character to the table.

The Artisans of Xela

The hand blowing glass cooperative in Xela, Guatemala, was founded in 1976 with the goal of creating jobs that would provide a living wage, health insurance, and support for local families. Driven by a shared vision, the artisans of this cooperative took the initiative to secure a small loan to purchase land and build their kiln and workspace. Over four decades later, the cooperative of 40 artisans continue to transform recycled glass into beautiful glassware, staying true to their original mission of creating a sustainable livelihood free from exploitation while protecting the environment and supporting community development.
