Jeba Ombré Shibori Cotton Napkins Set of 4

$60.00

| /

We know who we’ll be dressing up your dinner table and all your meals - these gorgeous hand dyed napkins. To get this traditional yet contemporary pattern a centuries-old Japanese technique called shibori is used. Each piece of fabric is folded, twisted, and tied before being dipped in dye. Each napkin is individually hand-dyed and unique. Mix and match any of the shades together, even in unexpected combinations. Dye patterns and shade will vary with each piece.

Set of 4 napkins

Materials: 100% cotton, natural dye

Size: 20” x 20”

Care: Machine wash cold, on a gentle cycle with like colors. Tumble dry low or hang to dry. Gently hand wash preferred. Keep out of direct sun. Be aware of any color bleeds in the first few washes.

Due to the nature of natural dyes some fading may occur over time. Do not bleach. Iron if necessary.

Master Artisans in the Art of Natural Dyeing

The mountains of South India is a nature lover's paradise housing different tropical plant species from eucalyptus to acacia trees indigenous to the region. This environment provides enough raw material to practice natural dyeing. Here, we are collaborating with an organization in a rural community that works with differently abled people, training them to be independent and confident. They utilize 100% hand dyeing techniques and natural ingredients, so the whole process is environmentally friendly. A great priority is placed on energy and water efficiency in the dyeing process. TerraKlay shibori napkins and table runners were collaboratively designed keeping in mind recycling, up-cycling and adopting ethical and sustainable methods while creating our textiles.
